It’s an alluring thought to some, I suppose. If all of us had the thickest of skins, nobody must take duty for cruelties, large or small. If the targets of derision solely had thicker pores and skin, their aggressors may say or do as they please. Who is served by all this thick pores and skin? Those who need to behave with impunity. I’m not speaking about constructive criticism or accountability but, fairly, the extraordinary scrutiny and pointless commentary folks should take care of once they problem others’ expectations a method or one other. Toughen your self, we’re advised, whoever we're, no matter we’ve been via or are going via.
